The Sticky Fingers of Time

Published by normanbates at 3:09 pm under 1 Edit This

Hilary Brougher’s debut with the Sticky Fingers of Time wasn’t bad. A film which was supposed to take place in both the 50s and present time was pulled off well. The film consisted of unknown actors and actresses which did a great job. Brougher both wrote and directed the film as a debut, and I believe it was a success. The one thing I did not like about the film is the part when the villain explains their motives. I think it is really annoying in films when the protagonist meets the antagonist just to hear a lecture on why they are so evil. Other than that scene, the film was really interesting. The film kept me thinking afterwards. Good original psychological thriller from Brougher, C+.
