Edge of Love
This film stars Kiera Kightley, Sienna Miller, and Matthew Rhys who plays the poet Dylan Thomas. This film had fantastic acting and even better cinematography, but the film does not finish as you would predict. We see Dylan and Vera, two old friends that meet again. We find out they were once lovers and never seem to let go of one another. Vera befriends Caitlin, Dylan’s film. The two become great friends. When Dylan continues to make passes at Vera, you think that she is going to leave her husband. Vera and Caitlin’s friendship begins to deteriorate and then the film falls apart. The film starts off so strong, but I don’t think that John Maybury knew how he wanted it to end. They film ends up all over the place and you forget what the film was about in the first place. Great looking film, but the writing needed more, C.
