Rock N Rolla is Guy Richie’s follow up to his last film Revolver starring Jason Statham. Richie has made a name for himself with films such as Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Rock N Rolla is not at the level as these two, but it is much better than Revolver. The direction of the films is great. The actors fulfilled their roles as best as possible. The one problem was that there were so many characters in the film, this prevented the character development necessary for a two hour film. However, it was easy to catch up to the film. This film just as Snatch was very witty and was film with all types of English slang which Americans love. This film re-introduces us to Guy Richie and gives him the opportunity to show how talented he is. MY one question is, is Richie capable of breaking out of the English gangster flick genre?
